Change we can believe in? A cautionary note.

If you still think that President-elect Obama's incoming Administration reflects his slogan of "change we can believe in," you might want to read this analysis. We know that most of Mr. Obama's advisors are veterans of the Clinton Administration, and appear to be more concerned with allaying the fears of Wall Street and oh, maybe by the way, Main Street, than in pursuing any kind of bold new direction.

The best economic stimulus, by the way, is the one Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) proposed to give us all a one-year holiday from the Federal income tax. But don't hold your breath -- you won't live long enough to see it.

Gohmert was on the radio yesterday and was great - and so was his idea.

Of course you are right, we wont see it.
