Because the President is a symbol of national unity (not representing any state); I think it is inappropriate for a secessionist to even vote for President.
In the past, Libertarians have had some rather extreme positions against governmental involvement where I think such involvement is legitimate, so I have had trouble taking their candidates seriously. It is possible they could persuade me to vote for their candidate, but from what I know now, I should not consider it likely.
I agree with Harold. Please see my previous post entitled "No One for President!" On the State level, I am not a member of any "party", although I often find the Libertarians agree with my views.
